See below for next Newark on Foot Event
Date: Sunday 28th December
Time: Meet at 1PM (a few minutes early is ideal)
Meeting Point: Front Steps of Town Hall
Distance: Approx. 4 KM
Between Christmas and New Year is a weird time of year, the dates have merged into one, calories don’t matter, and no one really knows what’s happening! So if you fancy escaping the in-laws for a few hours or need some quiet time away from loud children, join us for the next Newark-on-Foot community walk.
it’s a free walk, a chance to have a natter, a wander and compare the comedy socks we all got for presents
If you want to wear a Santa or Christmas hat, feel free, its not mandatory
Route: See below info sheet

This isn’t a tour. It’s not a lecture. It’s not a promotion. Just a bunch of folks having a nice Sunday walk on a rough route, a chance to have a natter, a catch up.
It’s a friendly, informal walk with good people who care about Newark and want to connect, chat, and enjoy the town together.

Only 3 Rules:
Be kind
Use common sense
No politics
Whether you’re chatty or quiet, local or new, young or old, walking solo or with friends, you’re welcome. Bring anyone along!
We’ll wander, we’ll natter, and maybe share a few stories about the places we pass, if you know any. But mostly, we’ll just enjoy being outside in our beautiful town.
If the weather’s grim, we’ll postpone — updates will be posted on the event page.
Dogs VERY welcome
Let’s keep building something special — a walking group that reflects the best of Newark: inclusive, curious, connected, and proud.
Hope to see you there!
